slept at 2 plus last night, cos already slept in the afternoon :p
had weird dreams, 3 in fact.
i dreamt of the same person and about the same thing for my first 2 dreams, each waking up to having a fright. i dreamt of my electronics lecturer, wong sing ming in my 3rd dream. he was supposed to mark our test papers, so i kpo followed to his house =/ as if i will do the same thing in reality. den he gave me a 5cent coin and a dollar coin to lock his gate! weird, using coin to lock ur gate. i tried the 5cent coin initially and turned to the left, it remained unlocked. den i used the dollar coin and tried turning to the right. lecturer house is those kinda not common corridor style, den i heard some noises from the right, thinking that it was thieves, so i quickly locked the gate. and den i was snapped back to reality once again.
go figure. bye.

♥ 1st week of school
boo 1st week of school is coming to an end le! means, less slacking ):
shit i hate blogger. i detest blogger.
i have lotsa group projects coming up - CD, CRS, PSYC. have group works - e materials and workshop practice.
had workshop practice's lecture on thursday morning after GEMs, was wondering who the indian lecturer was. who knew, he's our mechanics lecturer from last sem! lol, still remembered the time when we had this mini "anti black day" sia. LOL.
haha! den he was really high when he stepped into the classroom (:
c programming lecture was really dry, it could hardly keep me awake la. it felt like an hour, but only 10 min had passed. ): zzz. followed by CD at t1846. lol, reminded me of all the GYL briefings sia! so i purposely sat at the exact same chair which i alw sit (: hoho, don't know whether it's a good or bad thing to not have teng as my CD lecturer sia. if not, we're all "his best student" le. bored. tired. gotta get sleep le. class starts at 8am again later.

had EM1 and e materials ytd. didn't understand what lim tan x was. e materials wasn't that bad cos only had an hour lecture :) den went to bugis to meet SP, yiru, west gate and sis for neoprint purposes and "sadly" the shop was renovating! =D haha, had ice cream too :) yummy nuts! den watched "underdog"! gosh, it's like really hilarious! and it seemed as if we were the only group laughing like mad! :D

struggled to wake up on sat morning at 10am, slept for a total of only 3 hours. reached sembawang at 1pm on the dot, when SP and i actually intended to reach there 1/2 hr earlier =/ lol. anw had our bass assessment or mini test lah. phew, thank God i had a B+ not too bad :) yeah not one of the best but i tried la! haha~ den went for the workshop and learned quite a bit from the band and during the vocal "training". went for edge and was dozing off half of the time when pastor jeremy seaward was preaching, i tried paying attention at least. went to bedok simpang for dinner and had a laughable time there with all the cold jokes and etc lah. ahh i really really need to get sleep le, waking up at 7:30 am on sunday. and class starts at 9am on monday, like SO FAST ): and that also means less time to blog or watch tv or play le =( sadded.
12 weeks later lor, or maybe in another 19 weeks (: when we're having our long long semester break while other poly students gotta mug during their CNY xD

♥ dinner movie aqua monkey supper
ahh what a night!
went out with the GYLs last night! lol, initially wanted to ask a small group of ppl but to be fair, should call everyone arh. so after calling everyone, was expecting a bigger group today but in the end only 13 came ): like real sad. but it's okay la! haha! had dinner at billy bombers. real funny. was toking about jiaqi, den he suddenly appear outside bb! den was told that he kena 2 bird droppings directly on his head. like real lucky! :D den saw amos and sze loong also! like so coincidental! den i think sis's friend saw me! like SUPERB qiao. and tot the movie was at 7:50pm, but in the end it was at 9pm so yeah =/ slack till 9 lo. rogue assassin isn't too bad. (: i really like the twist and twist. basically the plot! the killing and gore are kinda crude, like you don't see 'em in normal PG shows lah, NC16 is really a good show. what actually made me continued to watch on initially was the cars and motorbikes! they are real big beauties. esp jet li's. like heck, i wanna get it in this lifetime!
after movie, 8 of us managed to squeeze into gary's small car. lizhi, aaron, sean, desiree, denise and me were behind. cheryl and gary infront. 6 of us behind! but thankfully we're thin and slim (: ha! send denise back home first b4 sean got his dad's car to drive us around! and his driving skills are definitely much safer than gary's. haha! and more spacious (:

hahaha den drove to changi to drink and see bleah (: and we saw sze loong again! eating nasi lemak =/ hahaha! den drove to yishun/mandai/etc and got road block! so we quickly put on our safety belt! LOL. went to bukit timah nature park and one more place to see monkey! haha! by then it was 3 plus going 4 le. den some of us went to lau pa sat to have supper! :D yummy! and then was send to doorstep! (: yay! haha!
okay, gotta be up at 9am later. got bass assessment later at 1pm. i scared i'll screw my chromatic thingy ): gah, die. not enough sleep.

sian class starting next week
next time monday no more off days ): in fact monday is the only day i can wake up a little later than the rest of the week.
monday class starts at 9am to 2pm (4 hrs not bad)
tues class starts at 8am to 3pm (6 hrs quite okay)
wed class starts at 8am to 12nn (4 hrs! is one of the best)
thurs class starts at 8am to 5pm (8 hrs is hell) thankfully didn't take up dipl plus cos the class is on thurs at 5:30pm, one whole day + evening can just kill me prematurely.
fri class starts at 8am to 12nn (4 hrs!)

horrible GEMS.
but i still managed to get into psychology & counselling (Science) =) thanks to kiasu-ism (:
haha! cos i heard from those with experience that all the good courses will get grabbed within the first 5 min! like who believe la, where got so exaggerated. but nevertheless, as a true singaporean, i practiced what one would do. being kiasu. so i logged in to sas at 1 plus when my appointment is only at 3pm =/ cos if log in at 3pm, system will definitely hang!! den kept refreshing the page ev' 20 minutes until 2:58pm. starting counting down, prepared the module code with the "ctrl + v", so can save time typing the code, nervous, as if it was the new millennium. when it struck 3pm, chiong to register and then the first part hang! i resorted to logging off and logging in once again! darn i thought, sure don't have the course le! even though only 1 min passed. den managed to log in and register and i saw psychology and counselling still open and i just anyhow click on the ticks hoping to get a place, "confirm?" yes!!, "processing", hell, i waited as if it was eternity. "you have been registered to the class" (: YAY! to double confirm, i checked my timetable and yeah, it was in! (: HAHA! and so by the time i told the first person about this, it was only 3:04pm :D haha! kiasu-ism!
it's gonna be on thurs morning at 8am-10am~ den wed and fri afternoon free!! =D
next sem i'll either take calendars and astronomy (Arts) or etiquette & professional image (business)
and and and timo is in the same GEMS as me (: ! but different class ):

morning nursery duty, had lunch there :)

neways, just came back from GYL post camp activity =D
had dinner at BK first b4 watching 1408 ytd evening at shaw lido cos most of us got free tickets! hahah! den it was very fun scaring kim during the movie~ most of us treat the movie as if it was a comedy sia, kept laughing non stop =D den some guys got so freaked out with the show (cos i didn't tell them it was a horror movie, though it wasn't really), that they were covering themselves with their jackets. MM guys. gosh. den we walked from orchard to esplanade to just chill, and then some stupid stuffs happened there. =( xue te! ahh! den ton the whole night with edwin, jia qing, kenneth, gary, desiree and cheryl (but she left at 1 plus), went to lau pa sat to makan :) satay, stingray, hor fun. den talk and talk until 5:30am to catch the first train! =D haha!

had dinner at BK first b4 watching 1408 ytd evening at shaw lido cos most of us got free tickets! hahah! den it was very fun scaring kim during the movie~ most of us treat the movie as if it was a comedy sia, kept laughing non stop =D den some guys got so freaked out with the show (cos i didn't tell them it was a horror movie, though it wasn't really), that they were covering themselves with their jackets. MM guys. gosh. den we walked from orchard to esplanade to just chill, and then some stupid stuffs happened there. =( xue te! ahh! den ton the whole night with edwin, jia qing, kenneth, gary, desiree and cheryl (but she left at 1 plus), went to lau pa sat to makan :) satay, stingray, hor fun. den talk and talk until 5:30am to catch the first train! =D haha!

♥ GYL CAMP
:) hi, just returned from Generation Y Leadership(GYL) Camp. it was from 4 sept to 7 sept. even though i had been dreading to go for the camp (which i alw does) i still enjoyed my time over there and seriously think that 4 days is simply short. should make it 5 to 7 days la. haha! time really really gone past so fast that i thought that today is the 2nd day of camp. it was an enjoyable trip. really. i don't have any pictures with me, just hope that they will send to me real soon :) heh. anw, my roommates were denise and cheryl (: great people. i'll just write everything in order la~ easier for me to relate also. any time from reaching batam onwards is one hour later than s'pore.
day 1.
we all met at tanah merah ferry terminal at 8am. i know some of you must be wondering where the heck is it, and it's actually very far away from the tanah merah which you alw see on the mrt train. even further than changi airport. my taxi fare came up to $9+ even though i live so near simei. ha! i rmb seeing gary and sean sitting on the steps by the entrance, cos it was quite cold inside. surprisingly i didn't feel cold at all! :D haha. being the leader wasn't easy for me. i just feel that i lack of the something. confidence? i just refused to project my voice too. the trip on the ferry to batam was quite bad. i was sitting in the lower deck, so it was very shaky :( felt like vomitting.
we went to "hang tuah" (the room) at the resort for some debrief and games. we played puzzles with the people born in the same month! and i realised there's 3 of us whose birthday is on 8 AUGUST 1990 :D not 1, not 2 but 3!! :D how coincidental la! and it's all from MM (: first group to complete the puzzles and 3D cube puzzle :) ha! den after checking in the room, had lunch :) den had raft building! group 4 and some group 5 mbrs :) [heh heh!] cool~ some people were saying that usually no group can built and sail it back successfully on the first day of camp cos of lack of teamwork. den while building, gary, jane and myself was also chit chatting :) haha! den that gary bluffed me that a certain hill was the bukit timah hill and to think i actually believed. and he was the spy for our group cos he ate a lot of spices when he was younger, lol. den i was very worried that i will drown during this trip but thank God! the guys in the group were strong :) the 2 girls were sitting in the centre = the slackers. not exactly! we actually play a big part too! cos the ropes will loosen in the water, so we both sit in the centre to create tension. haha, so in the end we won the game :D haha! den played poker cards at night. fun :)
day 2
had trekking with the same group~ loved it! hahaha! climbing the rocks, stepping in the mud (until abv ankle), losing our way.. learned a lot on communication. every role is equally impt. the map reader, the compass person, the first man, the last man, the pacer. 100m is approx 60 strides! den gary was talking crap all the way, ahh! and i think during this trekking, it is better to give a helping hand rather than just plainly saying "be careful" actions speaks louder than words ma. O.o den had some motivation talk by a counsellor, smth about empathy. putting yourself in other people's shoes. den was also preparing for gala night skit. really very very funny! den slept ard 1 plus that night. haha. i was sleeping like a cocoon. =/
day 3
played dragonboat :) fun! peddling on the creatures and connecting with the other creatures boat or whatever. haha. den we wanted to attack the dragonboat-ers and those kayaking. and the biggest news was gary lost his spec!! haha! we suan-ed him like siao! den was preparations for gala night, so we rehearsed the skit la. den we got ready for the gala dinner. pretty girls xD haha! den i realised i got sunburnt! it was so obvious that thru out the dinner, those gals who were feeling cold would just touch my legs for warmth. den we performed our skit, which was well done. thanks to that gary who gives us the whole idea of the skit by "zhi dao-ing, zhi bian-ing, zhi yan-ing" self direct, self script, self act. LOL. the skit was really hilarious.. shall update on it another time :P
den was award presentations which was :) our group collected a lot of times! went up ard 7 times sia! heh. and the BIGGEST news for me is that at 2 plus in the morning, cheryl, firdaus, jalal and me went for star gazing! more other ppl were outside but drinking =/ i saw shooting stars for the first time in my whole entire life! :D no no, i didn't make a wish. i'm not having a MTV for zai zai. and the next news is that i saw a fireball! i actually tot it was a firefly, den firdaus was commenting that it was actually a fireball =) jalal was the only one who didn't see it :( gah. went back ard 2:45am and chit chat with denise and cheryl till 3 plus. and for the first time, i was the last to sleep!! omg! it was actually 4 plus at singapore timing.
day4
woke up at 7:30 and had breakfast and den check out. went to the elementary school which was equally fun :D hahah! the kids there were very adorable! we played dog and bone with them and it reminds me of my primary school days when the 2 different groups will jeer at the other team. this exactly happened to them. they were jeering and close to fighting sia. but kids. we got the p3 batch, so it wasn't that bad. they understand a lil english. i don't understand malay except 1-5. hahaha :) a lot of things are better explained in pictures which i don't have. :(
den went for shopping at the city. the mega mall of batam! surprisingly, 4 of us (girls) didn't managed to get anything! i was asking gary about his eye candy la. it was really LOL-ing la. and his gay partner sean was equally funny. these 2 guys tgt, really ultimate leh. sean kept saying he want to buy for his brother, den after he choose le, he said "i think this one too small/big for my brother, i buy this la". or want to buy crackers and biscuits, he will say buy for his mother! den boxers and shirt, buy for brother de, in the end he bot for himself. gosh. during the ferry back, sat upstairs, can feel the breeze and see the sun and waves, etc. no headaches :)
den dinner at the same coffeeshop which i went with classmates the previous week. :)

andrew - for carrying my laptop to batam and from batam :) even delivering to my hut's doorstep which was really far for him. his leadership guidance which i secretly learnt :P and for being a good example.
max - for being a good sport! he's always doing all the work for me la. great sailor too. esp during the kayaking with gary. ["oh oh oh ohhh!" kena capsized]
jane - ehh talking with me :) it's good to have a fellow female friend. and playing BINGO! =D and a great dancer! can never believe she only started 1 year plus ago.
gary - for being such a crappy person! wth. i can never forget the first day i saw him, so blur la. now ar. where got blur, only make me blur! but his effort for the skit was great.
hafiz - only one who speaks malay, so was a great translator to the elementary kids. yay. and a good bouncer for the skit!
hwee sheng - haha! the judge and the farter for the skit! looks quiet but he actually has a lot of ideas going thru his mind~
yi zhuan - the bodyguard for du shen! LOL. smelling the towel =/ i haven't relate the skit yet, so sure dunno what i referring to.
benjamin - another sailor! without 'em, i think our raft building sure CMI la. haha~

chin pau - yes, even though he tries to save his dignity and pride yet still embarrasses himself consistantly, at least we had someone to look out for. like watching him really close. in the bad way.

it was plainly becos during the elementary school, his group's classroom got the stage. den i was commenting that denise has grown and became taller cos she was standing on the stage. so i merely asked jia qi to stand on the stage too and complimented him that he's taller! and then just bcos of that he's been saying that i'm also a bai-kar, lame. :(
edwin - the C.C. dunno him that well la, but i think he isn't as bad as what others say. =/ i just don't like his hair. like gay. but if he botak, equally like gay, maybe more gross =( eww.
joseph - his help during the trekking! can be real quiet at times until i dunno what to say, as in literally :( but at least he tries to talk la. :)

♥ a big lesson learnt today
let me start this post with some familiar questions.
have you ever press the alarm in the lifts before? *yes, i see lotsa noddings
have you ever jump in lifts before? *i see more noddings
now, have you ever been trapped in lifts before?
this is a true life experience encountered at 0005 on 2nd september 2007.

desperate for an air conditioned environment, we decided to go to 7-eleven downstairs to buy drinks and shun bian chit chat while waiting for Y.R's mom. so we went in the lift and pressed "1" and the lift door closed and down we went. den an evil thought came into my mind. i started jumping and then jl and sp also joined in. bcos our jumps were very synchronised, we would land at the same time. and this is when the trouble starts. it stopped moving out of the sudden. the lights of the button weren't on. we stood there in shock. "are we trapped in the lift?" and then we started pressing the buttons and it couldn't work. den we pressed the alarm, but as you know. the boy calling wolves story. bcos so many ppl had been pressing the alarm for fun for many times, till people stopped believing. and this is what happened to us la. so we starting camwhoring again. :) hahha! J.L. was like a gay, acting so scared la.

we were perspiring like siao and we just kept talking and laughing non stop for 25 min! called the helpline and then i forgot to ask the impt qns. "how long more" LOL . it's a good time to chit chat! and we were talking about God, that we're not alone and that God, Jesus and Holy Spirit is with us! :) wahh! good experience.
ard 0025, we were finally out, thanks to a uncle to open the door :) and the aunty who heard our "cries". (more like talks and laughters ) haha!

my P1 teacher was mrs nancy ng. she only taught me for half a yr before going to HK with her husband. den was mrs doris tan! i rmb her! cos during my math exam, she corrected my mistake and i got full marks for that qns.
my p2 teacher was mrs lucy ee. she made me the assistant monitor of the class :)
my p3 teacher was miss june thomas. i dislike her to the core! i rmb she's alw expecting us to go to the music room within 5 min. our classroom is 3rd level, we needed to go down 1 level and then go to the back of the hall to get to the music room. if we're late, she'll make us stand outside the music room thru-out the lesson. or if we didn't bring our recorder, she'll either punish us to stand outside again or use those recorders which were left behind in the room. yucks. horrible teacher! but i also rmb when some of my classmates had food poisoning in school (thanks to stall no. 7 auntie's food, which i never ever gotten my food from in my whole 6 years ), she told us to hold hands and pray with her :) so sweet! haha!
my p4 teacher was ms angelia loy, now is mrs tan i think. she praised my work for the science card thingy (botanic thingy) must draw some flowers la, den my mother drew them for me, so she was praising me for such nice work =) i felt so hei-bie~ hohoho! but i never got that badge cos i didn't submit my work in the end :(
my p5 form teacher was mr lee, chinese teacher. i don't like my assistant form teacher! mrs doris khor!! ): cos she caught me for truancy la. on mini fun fair day, of all days. WTH! >:( ahh!! angry!
my p6 teacher was mrs lillian lee! i rmb-ed her encouragement! my term 2 results, i had 214/400. (ya la.. lousy la) my term 3 results got 241/400. den she was saying that i've done well and sure can get into express de! and on PSLE day, she was smiling from cheek to cheek and said "well done, can go express!" 188 leh! =D hahaha!
my sec 1 and 2 teacher was ms joyce quah! that honeydew teacher (mi gua ) LOL. tks to val for that nickname =D hahaha! she still rmb-ed me after 3 years! =D i feel so honoured can! hahaha! a really good t'cher :) her little notes to each and every one of us. i rmb-ed end of sec 1, i was crying secretly after she gave us some gifts and cards. so touched by what she said. den who knew, we will see her the following yr! dung! LOL.
my sec 3 teacher was mrs christina peh! =D ms quah's good friend :) hahaha~ an equally good t'cher too. though she was really strict in class, but she also know how to be flexible. make cold jokes about anything! a cat lover too! i like the way she teaches english~! "a vocab a day, gives the student an A" i just loved learning from this great teacher! =) but sad to say, good times doesn't last long. after half a year, changed to mr k. ): sadded. really cried for a couple of months leh. haiz.
my sec 4 teacher was mr k. mr k was the teacher of class 4k! =) haha~ i think all his comments in my report bk are nonsense. haha!

(ya la.. lousy la) my term 3 results got 241/400. den she was saying that i've done well and sure can get into express de! and on PSLE day, she was smiling from cheek to cheek and said "well done, can go express!" 188 leh! =D hahaha!
my sec 1 and 2 teacher was ms joyce quah! that honeydew teacher (mi gua ) LOL. tks to val for that nickname =D hahaha! she still rmb-ed me after 3 years! =D i feel so honoured can! hahaha! a really good t'cher :) her little notes to each and every one of us. i rmb-ed end of sec 1, i was crying secretly after she gave us some gifts and cards. so touched by what she said. den who knew, we will see her the following yr! dung! LOL.
my sec 3 teacher was mrs christina peh! =D ms quah's good friend :) hahaha~ an equally good t'cher too. though she was really strict in class, but she also know how to be flexible. make cold jokes about anything! a cat lover too! i like the way she teaches english~! "a vocab a day, gives the student an A" i just loved learning from this great teacher! =) but sad to say, good times doesn't last long. after half a year, changed to mr k. ): sadded. really cried for a couple of months leh. haiz.
my sec 4 teacher was mr k. mr k was the teacher of class 4k! =) haha~ i think all his comments in my report bk are nonsense. haha!
haha! those really long comments are those which "impact" my life =) hahah~
it's not easy to be a teacher la..
perhaps i rather not be?..
