♥ sweeney todd
"cut the throat and make meat pies"
heh watched sweeney todd with veron at cathay orchard just now. 4/5 (:
it's basically a musical-based movie. i'm nt the kind who likes the kind of singing and singing and more singing - yes, i didn't watched / not intending to watch hairspray and musical high school. so u can say that i made the wrong choice of watching this movie. BUT, rating 4/5 is basically becos of the music! yeah, i shld be shot down or get bang by a car. but anw, the whole movie in all is like great! oh my, the gore part is just when johnny depp slits his customers throat. and when the customers ate the meat pies.. eww, felt like vomitting. the twist in the show, oh so good, the ending was expected but not exactly expected cos i didn't expect him to die (oops i just told u the ending) that way. ahh. it's a sad ending and it just ended tat way. ): for those who don't like or love musical shows should just watch the movie. darn, that music is still stuck at the back of my mind.

ahhh crap. oh yea, and i'd been figuring how johnny depp looks like. so after the movie, we went to HMV to look for some DVDs and i saw one of his movie and he looked so cute! OMG =D
CNY is just next week and i haven't shopped for anything. still need to go back to sch tmr ): argh. school holidays, my beautiful sleep~!!

the day has finally come. it's holidays once again. (: e materials today. mugged the whole night and wanted to study on the train but slept in the end =/ ahh exams are over!! (: whee! 10 weeks of holidays start today! woohoo! and holidays are fully packed le, till school reopens in april =D heh! results is smth i'm not lookin forward for... this holiday gg to philippines for 25 days!

♥ mrt disruption
it's very very wordy..
yeah i was affected by the disruption between pasir ris and tanah merah this morning! tot i'm able to catch some sleep on the train and probably reached school earlier to mug and blah blah. then saw a crowd at simei mrt entrance and tot they so kiasu to collect the today paper but it's actually cos of the disruption! first thing which came into my mind "ppl jump down again! so inconsiderate" LOL. i mean the most inconsiderate act to die is to jump on mrt tracks. they deserve to be struck dead by the voltage or just flung off the mrt station when they kena bang. so anw, i tot it's gonna be like 1/2 hour incident like the previous time i encountered after my class. but i tot just take the shuttle bus to tanah merah since it's only 1 mrt station away and ev'one is queueing up. in the end took 38 to tanah merah interchange ($1 cash!! cos i intended to top up my ez link card that morning. suay) and t.m. was the next pasir ris, cos i managed to get a seat :) whee. realised that i'm supposed to take the train at ard 6:55/7:01am, but i only took it at 7:28am lidat? which is quite reasonable, thank God i decided to study in school at 8 lah! :D channel 8 news said that it lasted for over 7 hours!! omggggg so long, thankfully i didn't intend to wait on :) and heard that jurong also kena some disruption, like what's happening to the mrt trains le!! =/ i think mrt trains are really good, but when it comes to this type of situation like ppl commit suicide or mrt break down, etc., there's no alternative route. only uses one track. if the incident happened at tanah merah mrt station, woah, i dunno what to say sia. and if that day got exam, lagi suay.
and THANK GOD I HAD NO EXAMINATIONS THIS MORNING!! XD woots!
mugged from 8 plus until 3 plus, den went to macs and mug w cheryl and denise again. was crapping about the same phone joke which zhilin shared ytd, but cheryl said got modern kind de!! it's modern and trendy and an improved version of the phone joke (: exams tmr. God bless!

♥ androo bday, airport, zl farewell lunch
this weekend was a lil crazy! hahahha, it was andrew's bday ytd!! jane and her 2 frens, cheryl and myself met at harbour front mrt and went to get candles and balloon for him. den we took the bus and walked to his place luh.
the plan: cheryl and i to lure him out of the house, blindfolded, and then 3 of them would enter the house and prepare the cakes and etc, so jane would call and inform that they're ready and then give him a surprise!
so... cheryl and i managed to lure him and we brought him to around his place and etc but he's been living there for so long le, sure know his way mah.. but after a long time he managed to lose his orientation or smth and when we returned to his real home, he tot is jane's fren's place! (cos they lives nearby) hahah! and den made him suck the pacifier and hold the balloon like some kid la! hahah! it was enjoyable :)
den went to airport to mug with cheryl and she left at 6 plus. stayed until 8 plus until veron came, den meet the rest for dinner at popeyes! LOL. i managed to do math le!! section c at least :)
today was zhilin farewell lunch cum video gathering luh! :) went to the sizzler at toa payoh to have lunch (: woah! hahas, den uncle melvin saw his secondary school classmate!! so i was also trying to find mine. =X food wasn't too bad but i couldn't finish luh, waste money sia. den was talking about the kang sisters' future, got doctor, lawyers, business woman. potential company, 3 in 1!!
anw i'm preparing to mug more tmr for math, EXAMS, here i come ):

♥ last day of school
today's the last day of class!! GOSH so fast ): i mean besides taking exams tgt next 2 weeks, today is really the last official day we go for class together le!! and to mention about class, only 4 of us went for c programming. ali ariff zul and me. what? and buddy class (cos i stepped into the "wrong" class again - almost whole class (cos they also had test after that also). i really really dunno if taking TF is good or not. i mean, i will definitely miss this class man! argh. 2 semesters le. i dunno!! maybe i should write an appeal? =/ how how how? 1B23/1A23!! =X
anw met veron and her friend after my class today, den kinda went in search for shoes and bags. woah, her friend is good sia. anw after we walked a lot, we finally chanced upon a shop with shoes which attracted our attentions, furthermore, it was darn freaking cheap! i mean like 12bucks per pair, what more can i ask. i planning to get some stuffs after exam period! den call denise and cheryl along le!! :)

♥ golden path
oh man, i just watched the 2 last episodes of the golden path on mobtv. the ending is kinda unexpected, if not for the synopsis, i think it's gonna be more interesting for me. anw, really sad thing is that a lot of ppl died and :( jinlong died too. ahhh. mediacorp should produce this kind of drama more, the storyline is really good. i love tay ping hui's role cos he's alw the mean guy and woah, he acted so well!!
ahhh enough of mobtv, went to mug at airport with cheryl on sat. visited T3 :) woah, nice nice.. haha.. but i dun like the popeyes from there luh. hahah. anw i managed to do math 2day.. finally understood complex no, limitations and basic differentiation which is the first few chapters of math =X better den nothing! exams are in 1 week time! <3.0 this sem ): ahhh do my best luh.

♥ SP open house
oh my gosh!! i went for SP open house finally!! :) i must say that the open house is like not too bad, but the best part of the open house was actually some where in the convention centre, i think, cos they're holding the school of mechanical and manufacturing engineering and school of electronics, electric engineering inside! oh my!! :) i wanna join school of MM. woohoo! ahh i didn't get the goodie bag ): they tot i'm a student in SP ler. so angry lor. oh yea, and there's shuttle bus from the mrt there to the business block up the hill. oh man, studying in SP is so good, even got bus to send them to their class! O.o heh. and one of the teacher said "hi!" to me!! =D
oh crap.. nonsense la.. but it's true about gg for openhouse and convention centre..
had 2 tests this morning.. had GEMS quiz at 9 and WP for milling at 10 plus. den lunch and went for C++ class. damn shocked when entered class, tot i entered my buddy class' cos all of them were alr there, even attempted to double check until they said that i'm right. ahhhhhh.. tests, quiz, presentations, exams, they're all due very soon!! tmr gt presentation and essay due. OH NO!! i scared sia. haven't finished ): bye and gd night den.. gg to zzz le :) life still goes on though got tests, must continue to sleep early luh.

♥ c++ new yr resolutions
had psychology presentation today! enjoyed hilarious skits by the class (and besides my group, i dunno any others), and the other groups except us all got violence part sia. LOL. anw i duno why but my comp programming lecturer told us to do a new year resolution and she wants to see it by next lesson/tues. LOL i didn't know poly lecturers lidat luh xD the next 4 weeks is more chionging le ): really. GPA sure < 3.0 ): i only started mugging real hard last week. ahh i miss those mondays last sem, cos at least still got mug with class.
anw, my new year resolution for 2008 (i really dislike doing cos i will never complete 'em)
1. build up r/s with God.
2. spend quality time with family, frens.
3. practise guitar and bass guitar!! (collecting dust le)
4. prioritise time properly so that this year will not pass "so quickly"
5. end of 2nd year sem1, get a cumulative GPA of >3.5
i can't think of any meaningful ones le..
anw, 1 more month to holidays again!! XD

♥ 2008 is here
it's here. 2008 is here.
i rmb having silly thoughts long ago (when i was much younger) that i wanted to get married on 080808 cos it's my birthday (ha!) and it's such an auspicious date since there's 3 8's!! LOL, like crap, getting married at 18? one more 8!
i rmb in yr 2000 when family were commenting on Olympics Beijing 2008, which seemed so far away. and here is it! 080808 again! (:
last year/night watch night was totally different from past watch night services. it was the first time we ever count down for the arrival of the new year. it was in fact a new experience, like seriously. haha. it's was cool and exciting! (: i love the song about home. the prodigal son. "this is V..F..C, where my pastors love me, where they take all my money, to give to the needy. this is V..F..C, missions is priority, ....(can't rmb)" it's not only about the funny skit though it seems very advertorial, nor the song, it's about returning to Him.
God has indeed blessed my life so much in the past 17 years that i'm starting taking advantage of Him. by taking His glory.
A lot of stuffs happened in 2007. it was after the big O level, there were a lot of free time which i really thanked God for.
1) O results!
2) the 4 luggage - during edge
3) getting a bass guitar (:
4) JAE posting
5) synergiz 07 in VFC
6) laptop
7) indescribable; about God. realising that i'm so tiny yet he manages to see me.
8) SP orientation, a girl friend
9) favour for flagday
10) poly life; changing my atmosphere to fit into the environment.
11) caring for others (it was tough)
12) facing fear - during edge. esp when i felt really troubled that same day, about being intimidated.
13) seeing muhammad from IAG in SP MM!!
14) june church camp
15) youth encounter
16) POP in july (and 15,16,17, mentioned the same thing. i'm just amazed)
17) sem results
then pride starts creeping in. it's when i believed in myself more than Him. we should never do this. i'm gonna fall real hard this time. there's just so much that God has done for me. not only in studies.
You are good and Your love endures forever.
