♥ OCS gathering, + blah3
lots of stuffs happened during the past 10 days.
today at school, saw a lot of familiar faces again. like, more than my fingers can count. LOL.
sunday, was helping a little in video. haha. nicholas kept saying about me luh. cos out of 4 duties, i only made it to the first 2 duties due to my OCS trip and FOWA camp. haha. the next video duty clashes with my nursery duty, and i really wanna see how en min looks like yet feels like making up to the video team B for pang sei-ing so many times. haha, so i think i'll just go for video (:
sat! slept till 1pm that day :D met OCS gang at orchard mrt for karaoke gathering. had dinner at Food Republic before going to Party World. started at 7pm all the way to 11pm. we also celebrated Han Song & Joo Hong's birthday in advance that night. oh wells, at least the whole night ended well. (: some funny stuffs happened like, we were very very surprised at how Robert actually sings Zhang huimei's songs, etc...
fri, met up with Huishan after class. the last time we met was many months ago. can't rmb when was the last time. went to Vivo city and had LJS for lunch. told her what happened in philippines and in school and my new classmates. LOL. everyone gave the same comments when i told them about the Rubik's Cube teaching thingy. had net in the evening and then went to the adults' net to celebrate andrew's mama's bday!
french class commence on wed, the teaching was really fast actually but i managed to catch up cos i had a lil bg of the language le. so we learned alphabets and numbers and basic questions like what's ur name & how do u spell it? and we were told that RSVP is actually some french initials. i had been cracking my head to figure wth that rsvp stand for. voila! it stands for Respondez S'il Vous Plait. meaning Please Reply. yes! it's that simple! SVP means PLS (: yeah...
can't rmb what else happened, but will post some pics up soon. xD

♥ first week of school
yes, school officially started already. we were given mini project to do already, and are already planning on to the next major report writing.
stayed up until 3 in the morning to rush my ITP logbook, a lot man. felt a sense of accomplishment when i did finish. the pics and memories we shared for the past 9 weeks, it is indeed memorable!
anw, had practical at W1021 this morning. and i couldn't find the place luh! i had difficulty finding the stairs and the classroom. i can't believe i'd been studying for 1 year and still behaved like freshies. practical was juz briefing. was really tired o'er the completion of ITP book, i slept a little during practical. and my lecturer never give face, told me after class that i'd been sleeping in class luh, must sleep early next time. like first time in my whole poly life, lecturer told me this! =X

(: how i love those catch ups! realised that a couple of us from DME1A23 was transferred to other classes. cos the last time they all saw me was the last paper in yr 1, so no one actually found out that i'd rebonded hair Dx so most of them couldn't recognise when they saw me luh! ): okay, i actually miss my class cos they are like, so close le. ): like seriously, even though i'd been the only pathetic girl in class, at least they were inclusive! TF class also very good! but it's just that it's been 1 long year that i've known them! some friends from another class told me about one of my classmate in TF. cos these friends were classmates with him last year, so they were like, xin zai le huo when they found out i'm gonna be classmate with this guy for 2 years! ): darn! i can't stand this kind of ppl the most! ahhhh.

♥ first day of sch
today's the first day of school! =D i was late for 15 min, thankfully it's the first day of school (: heh! anw, i feel so so so so happy that siswanto is now my classmate!! haha! like double yay! no one else from my class joined TF ): my buddy class got 3! that gold-digger =X and then i realised that the air drummer went to CIE =X siswanto's classmate is a girl!! like yay!! 2 girls!! =D new class got around 17 ppl.. raja was the first lecturer of the day. for engineering design. really sian. cos he taught me mechanics in yr 1 sem 1, workshop practice in yr 1 sem 2, now is engineering design in yr 2 sem 1. and my math tutorial t'cher is the same as last sem! den when i saw wee liang at FC4 during lunch, he was joking that he'll get D- again for EM2. LOL. cos his class / my previous class math tutorial t'cher is the same as last yr! =X anw, during lunch, met a couple of philippines trip's friends. like YAY! i mean, when GYL camp ended and etc, whenever we see each other in school, we're very high la! it's the same for OCS luh. den some of us went to t16 to do our logbook. den i realised that jonathan had a really cute pencilcase which says "PANDA". LOL. den robert was so pissed off with jon lah. anw first day of school started well. (:

♥ FOWA
just returned from SPSU'S FOWA camp! =/ very very tired!
had interaction games, amazing race, dirty games, night walk, station games!
yes, night walk ended at 0535 on sunday, and after bathing, only managed to get 2 hrs of sleep. darn tired ):
freshies are really high, oh my, i think i learned wat hierarchy is =/ LOL. cool. my IC do everything luh, i was the one slacking =X heh.
after break camp at 1:25pm, took pictures and etc and had de-brief at 2 plus. kept dozing off. after de-brief at 3 plus, still had camp comm meeting until 4 plus =/ den chiong to church for video.. LOL. i missed team B video for many times le! =X last time i went was 17th Feb. a day b4 mini expedition. then i missed the next morning and evening during philippines trip. and missed another morning for FOWA. =/ haiz.
jia you. school starts tmr ): ahhh i dunno how to face new classmates tmr luh.

♥ BBQ at east coast park
summary of philippines trip
ytd! =D
went to school for FOWA prep, saw my buddy classmate and weijian. buddy classmate was also commenting that i was chao ta! =( den meet kx for lunch, saw the 3 musketeers again. den on way to mrt, saw yi wei, matthew and one spsu guy. supposed to meet the rest at parkway parade at 2pm, but cos of heavy rain, most of us was late. den at PP, i saw cleone! LOL. den after we did some shopping at Giant, the rain started to get really really heavy. so we went to foodcourt to relax. den i saw michelle! i saw so many ppl within one day luh.. anw we still got caught in the rain, cos the others alr reached ECP. ahhh. we had durian! =D we attempted using the filipino style to start fire, after a long wait, the charcoal actually managed to get heated, but by then we had alr called someone to buy fire starter le. BBQ was good~ hotdog was well cooked! it's the 2nd best bbq hot dog! 1st was done by my class~ we stayed until 10pm and went back home. though i lived in tamp, i only reached home at 11:50pm. i only managed to take the bus at 10 plus 11. i missed the darn bus ):

♥ philippines!!
philippines trip!
a couple of unlucky stuffs happened when i was in philippines!! ): like argh!
1) Rubik's Cube teaching (18/03/08) ! ev'thing was gg well until after lunch time.
i went to the toilet, found out that i had my period.
den found out that i was stucked in the toilet cos of the lock which was really rusty. i was very happy when i managed to lock the toilet door initially, until after i got stucked, did i realised there was a wooden plank at the top of the door to lock the door.
i didn't save any of my team mates' philippines hp no, cos i didn't find the need to..
thankfully had cheryl's, i cried on the phone, den my hp went FLAT. like WTH!
called for help verbally, but to no avail ):
after a long 10 minutes wait, den i got help from kx and principal. T^T
Solutions:
a) asked principal for pad, she tot i was asking for lecture pad!! =/
b) she stood outside the door when i went to toilet to wear pad! =\
2) the first day of homestay (22/03/08), we (karen, jessica, 2 foster sisters - claire & gereldine) went to town to get some snacks!! den i stepped on chewing gum la!! and it's really a big one. the next day, i found out my slipper - the same one with chewing gum ): , was spoilt cos my foster family's dog bite my slipper luh!! Dx
Solutions:
a) thankfully brought extra slipper. that jinx m)phosis. stepped on 2 chewing gums on 2 consecutive days in s'pore, left slipper also gg to spoil. was also hoping it will spoil during or after philippines trip. ALAS, back in singapore, on thursday, i realised that my m)phosis left slipper "open mouth" le!! =D
my team kept calling me sa-ba ren and siao char boh ): cos i was really black after the island hopping trip (16/03/08). until just now, when i was looking thru the pics, den i realised i was really BLACK. no wonder la.. SCB cos i also dunno why. =/

♥ simplicity has its own beauty

Simplicity has its own beauty.
how true. the first word which came into my mind when i reached philippines was "simplicity". the kids there, they juz made me smile and experienced joy and laughter which i dare say, it's hard to experience in singapore. those little notes and gifts which they gave us, it truly touched my heart. the joy on their faces when we did electrification of the houses, it's simply priceless. many times, we have been taking advantages of the electricity in Singapore. but those 2 light bulbs actually made their lives much easier to go on. having no electricity at all is very tough cos we also experienced electricity blackout. candlelight dinner was very new to us, but we've been placed in these ppl's shoes that electricity is important indeed. Returning to Singapore, back to reality indeed. i mean, the hectic and busy life still goes on. returned on tues, back to school on wed-sat. following week is FOP and FOWA, followed by school reopen.. i mean, back in philippines, i actually COMPLETELY forgot what school i was from, literally. i really loved the time in philippines when ev'one juz let their hair down and enjoyed the expedition. Singapore is indeed a stressful country, where ev'one is just rushing and rushing. We should slow down our pace and stop and stare. LOL. live life simple (: reminds me of ah wang show - life made simple.

went to school today for SP flagday briefing, tmr still gg to school for the post trip stuffs.. ahhh.. i completely forgot about my life in SP when i was in philippines.. class starts next next week, and i'm in a completely new class! TF~!
