♥ synergiz `07 at tamp VFC!
hello! it's been one long week since i last blogged. that week had been a hectic one. haha, but that week really rock too! thank God so much! He's so awesome! xD
i received my enrolment package last monday evening, so i did the online pre-enrol at night on monday. on tues, i sorted out the necessary items which were needed to be signed by my papa, and including taking the cheque. it took me one whole day, lol. slow lah.. on wed, choing for check up but after reaching the clinic, did i realised that i must make an appointment! so i went to have my thumb print at POSB tamp branch and waited superrrrrrrrrrrrr long to pay my school fees ): after that i went to photocopy my IC cos i forgot to photocopy the day b4 ): and after reaching home that day, then i realised i needed 2 copies of birth cert! wah, sian lor, i tot i can send out liao. ok, noticed that i was rushing to do ev'thing? cos i was going to SYNERGIZ at tamp building on thurs to sat! no time to slack! and i was supposed to send in by 16 march which i tot it was a sat! and i sent in only on sat after 5pm. i was really afraid can. all the what-ifs came into my mind. what if SP were to de-register me from my course, what if the documents were to be sent out only on tues, what if they find some documents not inside, etc. ):
speaking about SYNERGIZ, it really rocks my world! LOL. hahas.. had breakfast ev' morning at 8:45am, that means need to wake up by 7:30am which also means i'll have insufficient sleep. haha.. okay, the main point isn't this. speakers were matthew barnett, jeanne mayo, jeff deyo and band. for those who don't know who jeff deyo is, he's the former lead singer of SONICFLOOd! for those who don't know who SONICFLOOd is, they're the one who sang 'i could sing of your love forever' and 'do you feel the mountains tremble'! for those who really don't know what these songs are, i supposed you were still in kindergarten then. ): haha. i actually didn't know who jeff deyo is, until i realised he was from SONICFLOOd and i heard this band from fiona :) lol.
the 1st session on thurs was a lil awkward cos not many ppl knew how to sing jeff deyo's songs during worship. so when he first sing a new (to us) song, we'll listen to the tune and try to catch it with the lyrics. then he'll usually repeat the same verse, and we'll sing along. yeah! =D haha. the first speaker was matthew barnett. he shared with us on his dream center at L.A. having to "steal" the prostitutes at night by giving a rose to then and say "God loves you" and then "kidnap" them. after "kidnapping" them, their pimps will notice and come chasing after the van which they were in. and then the ppl in the van would contact the ppl from dream center to stand at their building lah! btw, dream center main purpose is to reach to those ex convicts and prostitutes and pimps and practically ev'one! so these ex-convicts or ex gang mbrs will guard outside whenever this situation happens! LOL. it was really interesting! jeanne mayo shared about purity. i think this topic is reallt impt esp to youth and singles nowadays. like what she had shared that good guys doesn't like used furnitures. and jeff deyo and lou santigio/louis also shared with us on how they worship God thru music. God loves a true worshipper. (: the last session of synerg!z was great too. i choose the cross! slowly, ev'one starts saying this with all their heart and might. truely, He is awesome (:

oh yea, i checked out the webby of jeff's and their schedule was this! at victory family centre =D
ooh!! speaking about jeff deyo, we learnt a lot of new songs! YOU ARE GOOD, SATURATE, WE ARE HUNGRY, UNVEIL, BLESS THE LORD, JESUS I SURRENDER, and many many more!! wow! i think this CD which came out in 2005 is really worth my $$!! including getting their signatures :D haha!! their latest album which is UNVEIL is gonna come out on the 22nd may 2007, rmb to get it! =D
