♥ thoughts - Consolidation
Dunno whether i should draft or publish this post, but if you (as in anybody) reads this, i've published it den.
these 10 years since i stepped into the youth ministry, i have been taught 4 steps of The Great Commission. Win, Consolidate, Disciple, Send. through discipling lessons and LIW Classes.
but it's not only 9 - 10 years later, do i feel/encounter this problem. how do i consolidate new believers?
Consolidate Meaning :
Verb
Make (something) physically stronger or more solid.
Reinforce or strengthen (one's position or power).
Synonyms strengthen - fortify - unite - harden - solidify
and before you guys say "bring the person for cell group, youth services, sunday services, discipling, prayer meetings", it's.. how do you transit a new convert to this whole new stuff?
if you know what i mean.
i guess, this is where i'm / we are lacking. and so, i'm gonna read FCBC's "Your Arrival Kit" Manual for leaders. lol. i think it's really useful and handy. if only, i came across this years ago. perhaps, i would had dealt with things differently :(
