♥ Leaders' Retreat 2013
just wanna type this space before i head for bed! i know i will forget whatever i wanna "say" if i leave it till tmr.. lol.. procrastination - you die!
schedule was like this:
thurs - 7:30pm - 9:30pm
fri - 9am - 5pm, net at 7pm - 10:30pm
sat - 9am - 5pm, edge + dinner at 6pm - 10pm
sun - 9am - 8pm
power packed weekend! this year's theme for LR(Leaders' Retreat) is "It's Time for Increase!", we had Pastor Danny Han, Pastor Neil Smith (from Melb Planetshakers) and Bishop Oriel M Ballano (from Philippines) to share and encourage the leaders and congregation.
on the 3rd last session of Sat, aka after lunch's session.. Pastor Neil Smith was sharing on 'Prayer is Powerful' - Clear, Simple, Faith. Declare over your problems, the things you wanna see, and believe! "I'm the one!" prayed and declared over my family, net, disciples, friends, ministries and i believe that by the end of 2013, those will happen!
woah, i really feel so guilty that i havent been doing my part as a leader or mentor.
The leaders need to have visions and dreams for the net, teach and train everyone to share gospel and consolidate, pray but also act! if ppl arent attending the net, something is wrong!
as mentioned during one of the sessions, how to run effective cells...
the toothbrush principle - if you dun do the basic, you will be sick.
when you wake up, you need to:
brush your teeth, wash your face and comb your hair!
ie. win souls, consolidate and disciple..
i know that we all know these steps, but it just knocked more sense to myself when i think through this process.
and a lot more, that everything starts from the leader.
we learnt about prayer (that is POWERFUL, esp when there's agreement! AMEN!), to be a leader, a follower! so much more! AHHHH..
